Blending grants a Belt with Blending Affixes but will not replace the original Base Affixes. These affixes will be added to additional affix slot sockets on Belt gear.
After the Blending feature is unlocked as you progress through the main story, you can perform Blending on Belt gear in Blending Rituals at [Chief Blender - Pastor] in the Cloud Oasis.
By blending Aromatic Materials according to specific recipes, you can obtain the following types of Blending Affixes: Medium Talents, Core Talents, and Aromatic Talents.
Blending can be performed on crafted gear and gear that has undergone Dream Interpretation, Corrosion, or Imprinting. Gear with Blending Affixes can still be used for crafting, Dream Interpretation, Corrosion, and Imprinting, depending on its gear type.
Once Blending starts, it cannot be interrupted. Abandoning the Blending process will still consume the Aromatic Materials used.
You can use Aromatic Materials in your Inventory while in the Town to quickly open the Blending Rituals interface.
