Corrosion
A special crafting that generates an unknown effect.
After the Corrosion feature is unlocked as you progress through the main story, you can Corrode gear at [The Lightless - Zenoth] in the Town.
Corrosion is divided into Darkness Corrosion and Darkest Corrosion.
Each Corrosion grants the Corroded gear one of the following effects:
Mutate: Replaces Base Affixes with random Aember Base Affixes and sets the gear to Corroded.
Chaos: Re-rolls the values of all affixes without changing affix tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Arrogant: Upgrades 1 pre-fixe/suffix by 1 - 2 tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Void: Sets the gear to Corroded.
The following Corrosion effects could appear if the Corrosion is Darkest Corrosion:
Desecration: Upgrades 2 pre-fixes/suffixes by 1 - 2 tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Vorax Corrosion can be performed on Vorax Gear.
Each Corrosion grants the Corroded Vorax Gear one of the following effects:
Hyperplastic: Upgrades 1 random affix by 1 - 2 tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Limb-Stitched: Upgrades 2 random affixes by 1 - 2 tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Metamorphosized: Upgrades all pre-fixes by 1 - 2 tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Derived: Upgrades all suffixes by 1 - 2 tiers and sets the gear to Corroded.
Festered: Sets the gear to Corroded and binds the gear.
Gear can only be Corroded once. If the Corroded gear gains Chaos, Void, or Fester, it will become bound.
