You get 2 revive chances when you enter Boss Conquest - Rusted Abyss and will lose 1 revive chance when you are defeated or when you leave and re-enter. The challenge ends when you run out of revive chances. The challenge also has a countdown, and it ends when time runs out.
You can challenge Boss Conquest as many times as you like. If you are unhappy with your result, challenge it again to keep improving your result!
You will also receive a daily reward for your first boss challenge made every day. The rewards correspond to your highest rank achieved, so the higher you climb, the better the daily rewards.
