Out of the Aember, the Aemberons were born. The sudden outburst of Aemberons has formed an aggressive "Dark Surge". Hunters, go and find the Tidemaster's Lair to stop him.

New Gear Craftsmanship - Corrosion Crafting:
Now you can corrode Legendary or Rare gear with at least 4 affixes via the new character in the Hideout "Zenoth the Lightless". Special materials will be consumed during the process, and only one Corrosion is allowed. Consequences of Corrosion:
- Mutate: Replaces the gear's base affix with a random Aember base affix
- Haughty: Upgrades the tier of 1 affix by 1-2 tiers. If the result tier goes beyond T1, then replaces the affix with a special Aember affix
- Defile: Upgrades the tier of 2 affixes by 1-2 tiers. If the result tiers go beyond T1, then replaces both affixes with 2 special Aember affixes

Limited edition Legendary gear for the new season:
More than 20 pieces of powerful season limited edition Legendary gear that bring new possibilities into BD construction.

New map gameplay:
On the story and Netherrealm maps, Hunters will occasionally encounter groups of monsters infected by the Dark Surge. Upon defeating these monsters, Hunters will absorb their Corrosion energy, and when its max is reached, Hunters can release it all to summon dangerous Aemberons and get a random reward. Possible rewards are:
Weapon
Armor
Trinket
Compass
Craft Material
Fluorescent Memory

When the map is affected by the Dark Surge, there is a chance that the boss monster is also infected. After defeating the infected boss monster, Hunters can release Corrosion energy to generate a Familiar (Head of Aemberons). Defeating the Familiar drops season limited edition Legendary and Dark Surge Edicts.
By putting together these Dark Surge Edicts, Hunters will be able to challenge the season boss of two varying difficulties. The season boss may drop powerful season limited edition Legendary Gear and advanced Corrosion Crafting materials.

Casts the skill and fires a Marked Arrow, dealing 35% Weapon Attack Damage on hit. The Marked Arrow has a chance to Mark the enemy.
When the Marked Arrow marks the enemy or hits a Marked enemy, channels down 5 Explosive Arrows around the enemy with each Explosive Arrow dealing 110% Weapon Attack Damage.
Marked Arrow:
Deals 35% Weapon Attack Damage.
The skill fires 1 Projectile in its base state.
+50% chance for the Marked Arrows to Mark the enemy on hit
The Projectile is not affected by Projectile Quantity bonuses.
Explosive Arrow:
Deals 110% Weapon Attack Damage.
The skill fires 1 Projectile in its base state.

The Explosive Arrows fired by the skill can hit the same enemy.
The skill's Shotgun Effect falloff coefficient is 70%.

Ring of Blades
When channeling the skill, generates ring blades around the caster, dealing 3-6 Spell Physical Damage to enemies within range.
The ring blades will remain for 5s after the channeling is over.
Movement is not restricted when the skill is being channeled.
Each channeled stack will increase the number of ring blades and Skill Area.
Ring of Blades:

For the same enemy, Projectiles can deal damage once every 0.25s at the fastest
Max channeled stacks: 5
Generates 1 Projectile when gaining a channeled stack. Projectile Quantity will not exceed the number of max channeled stacks, up to 12 Projectile(s) can be owned at a time
After channeling, Projectiles will remain for 5s
Movement is not restricted when the skill is being channeled
 
The orbiting radius of Projectiles is also affected by the skill's Skill Area bonuses.

Hero Relic - Help

Each hero can only equip 1 Hero Relic, which will enhance the hero's abilities. Some Hero Relics may have certain requirements that must be met before they can be equipped.
Some Hero Relics can equip Hero Memories, which further enhance your hero's combat power. The slots required to equip them are random and are related to the level of the Hero Trait.
